There were a number of changes to font handling in snv_30 as part of the fixes for bug 5099951 "Fonts look terrible in JDS" <http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=5099951> Unfortunately, I don't know enough about them to help much beyond the suggestion I made earlier of trying 'fc-cache -f' to force rebuild of the fontconfig caches if upgrading from a previous version. > [Note that man fc-cache seems to display only single words on > a line when man of most other things works as expected. Fontconfig switched to shipping man pages in DocBook SGML format and relying on tools installed on most Linux systems to convert to troff format at build time. Those tools aren't installed on our build machines, so that failed. http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6368378 -- -Alan Coopersmith- alan.coopersmith at sun.com Sun Microsystems, Inc. - X Window System Engineering
