[xwin-discuss] Ctrl-[random key] randomly acts like Ctrl-Alt-Backspace

I've only been using Gnome 2.1.4 that shipped with Nevada build 48, but 
occassionaly (far too often) I will press Ctrl-C or some other Ctrl-key 
combination (usually in Gnome terminal but I think this has happened in 
firefox) which will cause X to restart as if I had pressed Ctrl-Alt-Backspace.  
This seems very bizarre to me - if anyone has any suggestions I would 
appreciate it.
