GLU headers and libraries are already part of the MESA bits
and on Solaris 10 Update 2 live in /usr/X11. When the OpenGL switcher
gets backported in Update 3, they will be also visible in
/usr and /usr/openwin for best compatibility with SPARC
build environments.

There was a non-technical issue with bundling GLUT into Solaris
the last time I looked, but I don't remember the specifics.
Until they redid the web page, GLUT for Solaris x64 was being
hosted at

  http://www.opengl.org/documentation/specs/glut/index.html#sun

but it looks like they reverted to a backup that predated my x86
submission. I sent Mark Kilgard a query about this a while back.
I will try the site admin to get it added back. I don't believe
I have enough space on my Comcast home account to temporarily host
both the 32 and 64 bit versions, but I will check.
