Another follow-up (just to register, as no one seems to be interested).
As of snv_28, it looks like the workarounds from bug 6179960 don't work for me. 
I have also tried setting power management settings in dtpower to disabled and 
disabling the powerd service.
As nothing I tried worked, I keep waiting for someone to give me some hint or 
suggestion or some fix to appear.
