[Yaaic] yaaic not connecting

yaaic had been working fine, but now is not connecting.  when I try to
connect to a server, the light turns yellow and nothing happens.
there are no error messages or messages of any kind, it is just a
blank screen.  the only thing I can do is disconnect from the non-
responsive server.
