Did a bit of testing already. One of the patches breaks nick completion. The completed nick is selected, and thus typing any other character or hitting the keyboards autocompletion replaces the nick with something else.
BTW: Why are those IME patches needed? I got autocompletion in Yaaic just fine since ever.
