I'm honestly just forwarding the smilie code, as long as it works when testing. I get one line and a half when in landscape mode without fullscreen :). The code is no longer just about fixing the pan issue. I say just go one step further and hide the gallery location. the flicker seems to be caused by the system running the code several times. Taking from 0 milliseconds to 24 each pass. I think there is room for some optimization. Thanks for the git am tip, I had never heard of it.
