Yes, I typed the "s" correctly in the command. One test was on the lab. cluster, where I got good results before. Perhaps Remi will help to understand what happens.
"OMP_NUM_THREADS=4 ./yade" is exactly the same as --threads or -j? Bruno
yade --help: --threads=4 or -j4 (not "thread"). Besides, yade default to launch as many threads as there is cores. Also depends on hardware, as Anton noted.
