Hi everybody, based on discussions with Grenoble folks, we would like to release some what stable version in few weeks or so. The main point is to discourage people to use outdated 0.20 (last official release).
A few points to be resolved before we get there (what I think): 1. Register remaining classes with YADE_CLASS_BASE_DOC_* macros; that will get rid of startup warnings as well as of several hacks in python/c ++ glue (https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544857) 2. Finish callback implementation (should be easy, but who knows; https://blueprints.launchpad.net/yade/+spec/interaction-callbacks) We track bugs/blueprints for 0.30 here: https://launchpad.net/yade/+milestone/0.30-0 If you have some concerns about what should be resolved for 0.30, create bug/blueprint and link it to the 0.30-0 milestone. Big things like functor devirtualization and wm3->eigen migration are clearly post-0.30, however. I will have ubuntu packages built, for testing and then after the release as usually (https://launchpad.net/~yade-users/+archive/ppa). Let me know if you use ubuntu version different from those that we plan to support: 8.04 LTS (hardy), 9.10 (karmic), 10.04 LTS (lucid, beta). Cheers, Vaclav _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~yade-dev Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~yade-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
