Dear all, We are pleased to announce that yadedaily is now available for Ubuntu 24.04 Noble. Installation instructions are updated on the Yade website.
Please note that Ubuntu 24.04 does not contain the usual Yade package due to issues with Python 3.12. Therefore, you will need to use yadedaily or compile Yade from source. Additionally, we have dropped support for the following older distributions: - Debian 9 Stretch - Debian 10 Buster - Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Yadedaily packages will no longer be updated, and compilation is not guaranteed on these versions of operating systems.
