OK, but this is not good enough. There must be a file that you open with
kdevelop (or whatever else) and everything works. We want to make softare
work for us.
Mmmh... I don't understand the problem here. We have that file
"yade.kdev4", what else?
Yade is not an executable, it is a python script, so you have to set the
binary to python and its first argument to the yade main script.
As said before, I did that and it didn't seem to work. Needs more try

I believe that you could do that with mingw too.
Well, yes, but everybody would have to install mingw, which is not
exactly easy on windows. Mingw is also ugly and breaks windows desktop
features.
Since yade is a python
script, it is not an executable that you can run, unless you go for some
other tricks how to make a monolithic python executable.
I know you can link statically with python.lib. Would it do the trick
(basically, having python itself in yade.exe)? Not sure.
