Hi Anton (or someone else), if you have time, could you please install a file that creates menu entry as per http://www.linux-cd.com.ar/manuales/debian-menu/ch3.html (it is very simple). The name should include version name, so you might want to use a template file (in a save way as for debian/control-template and so on).
