I still can not get a backtrace for this segmentatuin fault. It
appears only during packaging.

I am working on it. Will let you know. Maybe the problem is in
chunkSize=1?
If you mean https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/676037, that was introduced
after branching 0.60.
