Hi Chia, there is https://www.yade-dem.org/sphinx/yade.wrapper.html#yade.wrapper.InterpolatingDirectedForceEngine which you might consider. Implementing analogous InterpolatingTranslationEngine would be trivial, you can try that; or I can do it if you need :-)
