Hi Liqing, there are actually 2 laws similar to the one you mention. One is directly based on Jean-Patrick Plassiard's paper, Law2_SCG_MomentPhys_CohesionlessMomentRotation written by Chia Weng Boon (see https://www.yade-dem.org/sphinx/yade.wrapper.html#yade.wrapper.Law2_SCG_MomentPhys_CohesionlessMomentRotation). In that case (http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~yade-dev/yade/trunk/annotate/head%3A/pkg/dem/Engine/GlobalEngine/CohesionlessMomentRotation.cpp#L139) the bending moment is limited as you mention.
