I use SpherePack.particleSD in order to reproduce a specific PSD given via points (see attributes radii and passing in the code). I do not have the need to fix the void ratio or the porosity, those would be the result of the compaction phase (if you are running the triaxial test). I prefer to reason in terms of relative density, as Bruno many times suggested. As for the use of SpherePack.particleSD, I will see to commit a simple script when am back to my office.
