Hello,
I have an ubuntu 11.10 x86_64 and just put yade-daily on it. I would like to do a dynamic simulation of a roller bearing running at a certain rotational speed (inner race).

I see that cylinder is one of the shapes supported. But when I create one it looks like it is capped with spheres. Is there a way to model rollers which are plain cylinders with flat ends? The manual mentions that cylinders are minkowsky sum of line and sphere, and to my limited mind, this implies spherical ends.

But I don't see interactions between cylinders , only chained cylinders.
Building a bearing going to possible without going into c++ just inside the python interface?

Thanks in advance
Osman
