Question #210429 on Yade changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/210429
Jan Stránský proposed the following answer: Hi, In formulation, where interparticle bond's cross sections are proportinal to square of particle size (standard Yade approach as far as I know), there is no size effect for stiffness. See e.g. my study, a simple dimensional analysis included: https://yade-dem.org/w/images/6/64/Stransky2010-Macroscopic-elastic-properties-of-particle-models.pdf cheers Jan 2012/10/5 wangxiaoliang <[email protected]> > Question #210429 on Yade changed: > https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/210429 > > wangxiaoliang posted a new comment: > Chareyre, do you mean there is micromechanical relation between Young > and packing's bulk modulus not depend on particle size?
