Anton Gladky proposed the following answer: I think LP:850864 is not relevant here at all. There is something wrong with time step or contact model. I used facets a lot and did not meet such a problem. >From my point of view LP:850864 can happen very rarely, if stiffness and time steps are chosen correctly.
