Hi,
1.) You do not need SpherePack() command in your simulation, because you
already have your packing in sphere.txt file.
sp=pack.SpherePack()
O.bodies.append(ymport.text('sphere.txt'))
sp.toSimulation(material=spheremat)
2.) You did not set material for your spheres. Try
for b in O.bodies:
if isinstance(b.shape,Sphere):
b.material = spheremat
