Description changed to: Hi, all Swelling soil like bentonite will swell when sucking water, how to model the process of sucking water and the volume changing of expansive soil. There maybe some difficulties as following: (1) The bentonite is composed of unit cells, it's small and not spherical; (2) The capillary attraction is involved, which is difficult to model when the unit cell is not spherical; (3) others.
