Question #244319 on Yade changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/244319
Nguyen N.G. Hien proposed the following answer: Hi David, I'm novice too but I'll try answering your questions :) a. The ./ is the common operation of Unix/Linux system whose explanations can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/cfm269u b. Otherwise to open the Yade compiled from downloaded package, you can also try opening a random Terminal, then drag and drop the file located in the bin folder of the installed directory (decided in your cmake process) in this case is dragging the file yade-1.07.0 . I think it should work. Can't find better way though. c. About IPython error, try import IPython first, then launche Yade and test again. For permanent solution I have no idea. Small question, which Python version you installed on your computer? That's as far as I can help. Good luck. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of yade-users, which is an answer contact for Yade. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~yade-users Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~yade-users More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
