Bruno Chareyre proposed the following answer: I just realized that there is a simpler option: remove atlas libraries (atlas, atlas-base, atlas-3gf, and so on...). The bug comes from the fact that using the atlas version of lapack imposes to also use also atlas for blas, and update-alternatives is not tackling this.
