Jérôme Duriez posted a new comment: Hi, I guess the reason is that one (at least) of your interaction has zero normal or shear stiffness. It is easy to check inside your elastic energy loop. Once this is confirmed, you'll have to wonder / ask why zero stiffness are computed. But then you'll be one step forward !
