Question #280183 on Yade changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/280183
Status: Open => Answered
Bruno Chareyre proposed the following answer:
GCC can add debug symbols to optimized code. That is why "-g" (debug symbols)
can still lead to "optimized out".
You need to disable optimization with the flag "-O0" (capital "o"+zero), while
by default it must be -O2 or higher.
Of course it will be much slower.
