Hello,
Definitively, yade-1.07.0 should have a controller (there has been one for 9
years, as far as I know...). Don't you have such kind of message at Yade start:
[[ ^L clears screen, ^U kills line. F12 controller, F11 3d view (use h-key for
showing help), F10 both, F9 generator, F8 plot. ]] ?
Some of the keyboard shortcuts might be unefficient (F11 just switches to full
screen here) but you should still be able to let appear what you want.
Or simply
yade.qt.Controller()
....
