Question #314841 on Yade changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/314841
Bruno Chareyre proposed the following answer: Hi, Imposing zero stress can be a problem when the sample-boundary contacts have no tensile strength (the typical case). This is because no contact at all satisfy the zero-stress condition, then the wall can be just floating around, in turns giving a wrong cross-sectional area, and then a wrong stress evaluation. I suggest to impose a small non-zero value. Would it change the problem?
