Hello,
1/ I would suggest to first choose tools which will let you navigate in the
code efficiently. There are many options, I would personnaly sugest kdevelop
(ctrl+alt+f -> computeCapillaryForce will tell you where it is).
2/ I don't what "code- merging algorithms" could be. Could you tell more?
