Jérôme Duriez posted a new comment: Hello, I did not grasp all details of your script but whether " the velocity is applied instantly not permanently" is easy to check asking Yade about the velocity of the bodies whose velocities you think you assigned. In addition to this, NewtonIntegrator.damping = 0.9 is huge (you trick real physics by 90%) and I'm wondering whether including gravity is necessary ? (you may try to simplify your script removing it ?)
