Hi,
In case you had in mind the specific example of built-in porosity() function,
the corresponding doc at [1] (or in your YADE session, just type "porosity?")
hopefully is clear enough.
Because YADE is open source, you may also check the source code at [2] to check
/ better understand what the doc says.
