Hi,
In your MWE the error does not come from saveVtk() (comment line 75-> still the
same error).
And in this script also there are large overlaps between the spheres and the
walls (and the walls are just very large spheres, i.e. same issue), that's
because you generated a periodic cloud in a finite box.
