Why do you think the problem is coming from the packing?
What is the loading applied to your packing (the script that you provide here
does not contain anything related to a loading)?
How did you set the interparticle parameters (young, poisson, friction angle,
etc...)?
Why do you think they will correspond to a packing with properties of a granite?
I am sorry but there are so many things to clarify in your problem that it is
very difficult to help you.
