New question #673474 on Yade:
https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/673474

We are trying to use YADE DEM to simulate the process of emptying particles
filled in a 2D maze like structure by means of gravity. The prime idea is to
reorient the gravity such that the particles falls downward through an exit in
the maze. This is iteratively done by choosing particles near the exit to be
pushed outwards. However, after some simulation time the particles get stuck
into the wall, and they do not move downward even when the wall is vertical.
Has someone faced a similar problem due to particles impinging the
boundary(ies)? If so, how should one best tacle this problem in YADE
simulation?
