Bruno Chareyre posted a new comment: Cheap yet efficient: "kate" has convenient syntax highlighting and hotkeys for python (e.g. indentation of blocks), and it can dock a terminal in another tab so you can edit and run in the same window. If you really want to execute and debug from a GUI I would suggest kdevelop, but that's just because it's the one I know. There are many other alternatives in both cases.
