I am very confused. Are you using the word "particles" to refer to
individual DEM bodies or packings of DEM bodies? You want to use varying
shaped DEM bodies (polyhedra?) together in the one packing (heap?)?
Anyways, adding cohesion between DEM bodies is demonstrated here [1]
with the CohesiveFrictionalContactLaw [2]
