Question #681518 on Yade changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/681518
Jan Stránský proposed the following answer: Hello, makeCloud always generates cubic packing. You can now then use e.g. filterSpherePack: ### sp = pack.SpherePack() sp.makeCloud((0,0,0),(2,2,2),rMean=.1,num=400) cyl = pack.inCylinder((1,1,0),(1,1,2),1) sp = pack.filterSpherePack(cyl,sp,True) sp.toSimulation() ### or use different method (e.g. pack.randomDensePack, self-made method, ...). It depends on your needs and requirements. cheers Jan -- You received this question notification because your team yade-users is an answer contact for Yade. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~yade-users Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~yade-users More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
