Jan Stránský posted a new comment: @Jerome: I didn't know that GlobalStiffnessTimeStepper considers also directions and accounts for this case, thanks for edification! @Ytang: Even if GlobalStiffnessTimeStepper solves the time step problem, it probably slows down significantly the whole simulation just because how the tip is modelled..
