We will use ver9 files for testing ver8.2 I added a hack in the PKGBUILD to use ver9 files for testing ver8.2. BTW, I noticed that vtk8.2.0 is flagged out-of-date in arch community repo, https://archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/vtk/ may be it will be updated to vtk9.0 soon. May I mark your post at #7 as the solution?
