IMO, test_v3 just takes a different approach to testing v3 than
test_keystoneclient took for testing v2... but they're both performing

Title:
  There is a test_v3_auth but no test_v2_auth

Status in OpenStack Identity (Keystone):
  Opinion

Bug description:
We have a test_v3_auth to do rest API tests but we are not doing for
v2, we probably will need to translate :

  https://github.com/openstack/keystone/blob/master/tests/test_v3.py

  to handle v2

or perhaps there is a better approach?
