Bug description:
Change I1e8a87d7dc1a1cb9309aeefd41619e20f49f95a6 has introduced
another of those SELECT FOR UPDATE NOT SUPPORTED errors in postgres.
Even though this error occurs, that does not seem to upset the gate.
