This is no longer needed, as the dogpile KVS backend can support pylibmc
directly and BMemcached as well.

Title:
replacing python-memcached with pylibmc in token.backends.memcache

Status in OpenStack Identity (Keystone):
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
I would suggest to replace python-memcached with pylibmc in
token.backends.memcache. pylibmc is a lot of more performant than
python-memcached. Are there any points speaking against the usage of
  pylibmc?
