After Ana's fix the only remaining noise that I see is this message:

gaierror(-2, 'Name or service not known'))
It just pops up in the middle of the tests. Apparently it can't be
reproduced in all environments.

Running the unit tests on master with a fresh venv results in a ton of noise.
The tests don't fail but we should have a clean output.
