Bug description:
The rsyslog config snippet /etc/rsyslog.d/21-cloudinit.conf ends with the line
& ~
As of Trusty (well, after Precise) this syntax is deprecated in the shipped
rsyslog, resulting in a warning message at rsyslog startup, and should be
replaced with
& stop
