    Allow magic search to be initialized by an event
    
    This patch adds support into magic search to initialize the
    search bar to a predefined search query using an event.
    
    This allows a prior search to be repeated, or to pre-populate
    the seach field with an initial filter.

  The current magic search query can't be initialized from Angular. This
  is needed in order to pre-filter the search results.
