Public bug reported: We are using ovs-dpdk in a compute-node without checksum offload, and VM can't get metadata when http response has incorrect checksum. Hence we filled checksum by iptables before the tcp packet leaving dhcp netns. Similar bug for IPV4 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/neutron/+bug/1244589)is raised and fixed as part of commit:
