not able to remove a compute service attached to the setup

Bug description:
I want to remove/delete a compute service in my openstack rocky
version setup.
But while deleting the compute service using the following command
openstack compute service delete <ID>
it is throwing an error as - HTTP exception thrown: Unexpected API Error.
Please report this at http://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/ and attach the Nova API
log if possible.

i have checked the logs in nova which is also displaying the same
error message -
