Once again, please keep in mind that this group is NOT here to help promote booting or any illegal activities. I can totally understand your frustration, and your need to retaliate. However there are 2 things that are so much better then booting. Let me tell you what they are, then I'll explain why.
First is to promote the use of the yahoo iggy (ignore user) button. Maybe some people don't know this, but if 2/3's of the room would iggy someone, yahoo automatically removes that person from the chat server and the audio server, and kicks him off chat under that name. If someone comes into your room, and starts causing problems, get everyone in the room to put them on ignore, (right click on the name and click ignore). You can get your mic back if they take it, and if enough people do it, get them thrown out. It takes only seconds to iggy someone, but could go on for hours if you argue with them. Not a very enjoyable chat experience. The second thing is to get some protection. Ytunnel is a great bet, and there is a free version on their site www.ytunnelpro.com. Once you have this, use it together with messenger. There are many tweeks you can make to messenger, and the most important one being, TURN OFF YOUR PMS, cam invites, and any other invites. This does not mean you will not get your pms. Because ytunnel advises you that someone is trying to pm you, and you can pick and choose who you want to accept them from. WHY? The most important reason is that, there are very few working booters out there. There are some, especially if you set up your ytunnel and messenger correctly. Yahoo did some changes to their protocol and the people that write the booters have to redesign how they work. Right now the only booters that have an affect are something called mass bot logins.. What this means is that you need over 100 names to log in to boot someone. The problem with this is that yahoo has put something in their programming that if they detect this, they ban your IP address, which means you are locked out of yahoo messenger for 12 to 24 hours. Be very very careful when playing with toys.
