Everyone with a Yahoo ID should go click on any link that says "My Account" and check his/her marketing preferences if you wish to avoid receiving more unsolicited junk mail that you probably already do! I would suggest you check your own Yahoo preferences soon, as Yahoo sometimes changes their policies without any direct notification to subscribers. To look at and to possibly change your Yahoo marketing preferences, here's the procedure: 1. Log into Yahoo and click on "My Account" 2. On the "Account Information" page which opens, look in the middle of the section called "Yahoo ID Card" and click on the blue hyperlinked line which says "Edit Your Marketing Preferences". 4. On the "Edit Marketing Preferences" page which opens, set each of the preferences YOU choose. (You may, like me, find that Yahoo, by default, sets ALL of them to YES for you!) Read the entire page carefully, and set any links and preferences to what you want them. When you're finished, click on "Save Changes".
