Well Mattarellodelcastello, let me put it this way. You've been
Cracked. Not Hacked.

One of the biggest things in yahoo is trojans and links. Over and
over and over, warnings have been sent out, people telling people, the
follow.

1. NEVER CLICK ON A LINK IN A ROOM, A PM BOX, OR ON YOUR FRIENDS LIST.

2. If you want to go to that page, cut and paste the link into your
browser.

3. NEVER assume the yahoo sign in page is the real one, unless you
typed it in.

This is exactly how people get your user name and password. The web
site and links, take the info that person used to sign in and their
password, and it gets sent to them, and you've just lost it.

Unless you know the data that you supplied when you first signed up,
then you're out of luck getting it back.

Yes, these people can change some of the information, but they can
never DELETE the information that yahoo has when the account was
originally opened.

If you do know this information, then go to yahoo, (check out the
files section on the left, and it will give you the info), and try
getting your account back.

This is not a new thing for yahoo, and they have been dealing with it
for years and years. If you look in their help section under
security, they will tell you everything that I have just told you. So
by you trying to "complain" to yahoo and telling them what happened,
they will probably tell you that you should have read the safety
issues, or something like that. The key now is to try to get your
account back.

Good Luck, and please please NEVER NEVER NEVER click on anything, and
NEVER assume the person on your friends list, is actually that person.
They could have gotten their account hacked as well.
