Alrighty Zach.
First thing you have to do is reinstall yahoo. Somewhere there is a missing, or corrupt file that is causing the error. Removing Messenger is a two step process. 1. Go to add/remove programs and remove it there; 2. Then go to your c:/program files/yahoo and remove the file there then reboot. Reinstall Messenger. If you still have problems, use a different version of messenger. The newest messenger always has some glitches in it. I know you said that it worked ok before. But Yahoo did a major server update and program update on March 25, and this could have very well messed with messenger. Good luck, and let us know.
