Alrighty Zach.

First thing you have to do is reinstall yahoo. Somewhere there is a
missing, or corrupt file that is causing the error.

Removing Messenger is a two step process.

1.  Go to add/remove programs and remove it there;
2. Then go to your c:/program files/yahoo and remove the file there

then reboot.

Reinstall Messenger.

If you still have problems, use a different version of messenger. The
newest messenger always has some glitches in it.

I know you said that it worked ok before. But Yahoo did a major
server update and program update on March 25, and this could have very
well messed with messenger.

Good luck, and let us know.
